Congregación Emanuel- Iglesia Luterana Española

While we were in Madrid we had the opportunity to attend a sister Lutheran church that was within walking distance to our hotel. The entire service was in Spanish but we could follow along because it was all pretty familiar. The pastor also made his sermon available online in English.

I waited until later in the service to get up and start photographing but once I did, I felt very at home. It reminded me of what I do every Sunday at Holy Cross and I commented to Paul that it was my favorite photographic experience so far in our trip. After the service, a little girl asked me if I was a photographer and when I told her yes, her eyes lit up. I hope she gets to be a photographer one day too.
